Braunschweig hosts 8th Regional Music Festival

The 8th Regional Music Festival took place in Braunschweig on September 12, transforming the city center into a massive musical venue. Under the theme ‘Ohren auf – so klingt die Region’, the event featured 21 stages, 160 concerts, and approximately 2,000 musicians.

The festival showcased a wide variety of genres, including classical, choral, jazz, blues, pop, rock, and metal, all offered with free admission. The event highlighted the musical diversity of the region, including Braunschweig, Peine, Wolfsburg, Wolfenbüttel, and Salzgitter.

One notable performance included the Peine-based heavy metal band Shotgun Justice, who performed at Kurt-Seeleke-Platz.
