Braunschweig nightclub DAX – Bierbörse to close after insolvency

The legendary Braunschweig nightclub ‘DAX – Bierbörse’ is set to close its doors following financial difficulties and a subsequent insolvency filing in June. The operator, Gökhan San, announced the permanent closure via social media, noting that efforts to find investors to secure the location were unsuccessful.

As the period of insolvency payments for employees expires at the end of August, the club has scheduled its final events, including a ‘time travel’ themed party on August 29, to mark the end of its operations in the city’s nightlife scene.
