Brava Energia production falls 1.1% in August

Brava Energia reported a consolidated production decrease of approximately 1.1% to 1.2% in August, totaling 81,642 barrels of oil equivalent per day (boe/d). This decline was primarily driven by a drop in offshore production, which fell from 52,991 boe/d in July to 51,917 boe/d in August.

The reduction was largely attributed to a scheduled maintenance shutdown at the Papa-Terra asset, which concluded on August 7. Following the maintenance, the company stated that production levels at Papa-Terra have returned to normal. Other assets, such as Atlanta, also saw slight decreases.

Conversely, onshore production saw a marginal increase, rising from 29,602 to 29,725 boe/d. Specific field gains were noted at Parque das Conchas and Potiguar. In Potiguar, production recovery continues through the progressive reinjection of steam. While oil production decreased, gas production saw a slight increase during the period.
