Brave Mind Fighters advances to top 16 in Chinese humanoid robot tournament

The Polish interdisciplinary team Brave Mind Fighters has advanced to the top 16 of the Ultimate Robot Knock-out Legend tournament held in Shenzhen, China. The team emerged as the winner of Group C and was the only representative from the European Union to reach this stage of the competition.

During the elimination rounds, engineers focused on the ‘sim-to-real’ challenge, which involves successfully transferring control algorithms and behaviors trained in simulated environments to a physical humanoid robot. The team utilized the T800 humanoid from EngineAI for testing and competition.

Following their group victory, the team received a T800 robot as a prize to further develop their tools and test new skills. The team is currently preparing for the next phase of the tournament, which will feature direct combat matches scheduled for November.
