Brave to Love receives R150,000 donation to support human trafficking survivors

The Jacaranda FM Good Morning Angels Fund has donated R150,000 to Brave to Love, a South African non-profit organization dedicated to combating human trafficking, sexual exploitation, and injustice.

The funds will support the organization’s rescue operations and the Brave Freedom Hub, an enterprise and skills development program designed to help survivors achieve financial independence and reintegrate into society. To date, the organization has assisted 380 women, girls, and young men.

Brave to Love works alongside law enforcement and social services to provide rehabilitation and restoration. The organization was notably involved in a multinational operation last year that facilitated the safe return of 143 South Africans from Myanmar, many of whom had been trafficked into cyber-scam compounds under the guise of legitimate employment.
