Bravo Mining acquires Canaã Copper project in Brazil

Canadian company Bravo Mining Corp. has acquired the Canaã Copper project, a 6,185-hectare property located in the Carajás mineral province in Pará, Brazil. The acquisition grants the company 100% interest in the area, which is situated near the Sossego mine and the Cristalino deposit, both operated by Vale.

The project focuses on iron oxide copper gold (IOCG) mineralization within the Tapuia and Gueroba prospects. Historical drilling data from OZ Minerals between 2019 and 2024 identified significant intercepts, including 28.45 meters at 2.43% copper and 0.78 grams per tonne of gold at Tapuia, and 15.85 meters at 1.74% copper and 0.14 grams per tonne of gold at Gueroba.

Bravo Mining plans to launch an initial diamond drilling program totaling 8,400 meters. This program will include approximately 5,300 meters of infill and extension drilling at Tapuia to better define the geometry and continuity of the mineralization, followed by 3,100 meters at Gueroba.
