Braxton Berrios to undergo season-ending surgery

New York Giants return specialist and wide receiver Braxton Berrios will undergo season-ending surgery following a foot or ankle injury sustained during a game against the Arizona Cardinals. Berrios announced the news via social media on his 31st birthday, expressing frustration over the timing and noting that two of his last three seasons have also ended prematurely due to injury.

Berrios, who signed with the Giants in June, appeared in only four games this season. Following his departure from Sunday's game, the team has looked to internal options to fill his roles. Charlie Jones is expected to take over return duties, while other players such as Dalen Cambre, Jalin Hyatt, and Dontae Fleming remain part of the team's depth rotation.
