Illinois wide receiver Brayden Trimble is positioned as a key breakout candidate for the 2026 season following a developmental year. After appearing in only three games due to a foot injury, the sophomore has utilized the offseason to improve his physical conditioning and maturity.

Standing 6-foot-1 and weighing 195 pounds, Trimble is noted for his versatility in both slot and outside receiver roles.
