Brazil Accelerates Cybersecurity with AI and Digital Sovereignty Initiatives
A new web series produced by Claro Empresas in partnership with Editora Globo and aired on Valor Econômico examines how Brazilian firms are integrating AI, zero‑trust architecture and cultural change to strengthen cyber protection. Experts such as Silvio Meira, chief scientist of TDS Company, and legal scholar Ronaldo Lemos discuss the growing complexity of attacks, while Claro executives describe an ecosystem that links infrastructure, partners and solutions.
At the Amazon ON 2026 conference in Manaus, Danielle Ayres, director of the Department of Information Security of the Presidency’s Institutional Security Office, highlighted the need for resilient networks and state‑led governance to achieve digital sovereignty in the Amazon region. She called for public policies that coordinate private investment, financing lines for small‑ and medium‑size enterprises, and the integration of cybersecurity from the outset of digital projects, emphasizing renewable energy and ecosystem preservation.
