Brazil advances construction of new primary health centers in Brazlândia and Farroupilha

The Incra 8 primary health unit in Brazlândia, Federal District, is nearing completion. Built by Novacap with an investment of about R$ 11 million, the 1,499.35‑square‑metre facility will serve roughly 20,000 rural residents, offering family health, dental teams, vaccination rooms, pharmacy, and other services. Officials highlighted its modern design features, such as brise‑soleil shading and zenith lighting, aimed at improving energy efficiency and comfort.

In Farroupilha, Rio Grande do Sul, work on the new Central Health Post—classified as a UBS Porte 5—has reached 63 % of the planned 2,200‑square‑metre, three‑floor building. The project includes a basement for vehicle parking, two upper floors for medical and dental consultations, vaccination, maternal‑child care, and other services. Construction progress includes wall cladding, floor finishes, and installation of hydraulic, sanitary, and electrical systems. Until completion, health services continue at alternative municipal locations.
