Brazil is advancing several major infrastructure initiatives across the transport and energy sectors. In Mato Grosso, the Consórcio Rota Multimodal, led by CS Infra (80%), won a 30-year concession for 634 kilometers of strategic highways. The project, which includes roads MT-020, MT-140, MT-225, MT-244, and MT-251, requires annual investments of approximately R$ 93 million for maintenance and the implementation of a ‘free-flow’ electronic toll system.

In the energy sector, Aneel has approved the bidding notice for a transmission auction set for October 30. The auction involves eight lots with an estimated investment of R$ 8.9 billion, aiming to construct or extend 1,866 kilometers of new transmission lines across seven Brazilian states.

Additionally, the Brazilian Ministry of Transport plans to initiate a public call for railway authorization programs in December. This model allows for 100% private operation, with the first project focusing on the 733 km Minas-Rio corridor. Meanwhile, in Angola, the government is preparing a concession program for maritime cabotage terminals to improve port access and reduce logistics costs through private management.
