Brazil advances public lighting modernization in Cabo Frio and Rio de Janeiro

Public lighting projects are advancing in different regions of Brazil. In Cabo Frio, the modernization of public lighting has reached 2,828 installed LED lamps, representing approximately 8% of the city's lighting points. The project aims to replace roughly 38,000 points with LED technology, which is expected to reduce energy consumption by more than 50%.

In Rio de Janeiro, the Metropolitan Cathedral of São Sebastião has inaugurated a new scenic lighting system. The installation features 178 RGBW technology projectors and was implemented as part of the celebrations for the temple's 50th anniversary. The project, managed by Rioluz, also includes reinforced public signage around the cathedral to enhance visibility and value the historical and religious heritage of the central region.
