Brazil allocates R$185 million to Acre and R$5.1 billion to municipalities in July fund transfer

On July 30, the federal treasury will deposit R$185.5 million into the state of Acre as part of the third tranche of the Fundo de Participação dos Estados (FPE). The amount is split into R$97.13 million under Complementary Law 62/1989 and R$88.32 million under Complementary Law 143/2013, calculated from GDP and inflation indicators. Nationwide, the FPE third tranche totals R$4.92 billion, and together with other constitutional transfers the Union releases R$10.07 billion at this stage.

In the same cycle, municipalities across Brazil will receive R$5.1 billion from the Fundo de Participação dos Municípios (FPM), about 9 % higher than the comparable period in 2025. The funds, derived from income‑tax and IPI collections, are allocated according to population‑based coefficients set by the TCU. São Paulo state receives the largest share, with municipalities such as Americana, Carapicuíba and Santa Rita do Passa Quatro each obtaining over R$2.7 million. The transfers are intended for health, education, infrastructure and payroll expenses.
