Brazil announces finance auditor exams in Santa Catarina and Belém

The State Treasury of Santa Catarina (Sefaz SC) signed a contract with the Fundação Carlos Chagas to organize a public exam for 50 auditor positions in state finance. The contract, effective from 31 July 2026 for 24 months, allows the forthcoming publication of the exam notice. Vacancies are allocated across accounting, computer science, law, administration, engineering and economics, with an initial salary of about R$15,000.

In Belém, the municipal finance secretariat (SEFIN) created a special commission, chaired by Maria da Conceição Campos, to prepare the first ISS Belém public exam for the role of municipal tax auditor. The commission will oversee the selection process, evaluate proposals for the organizing body, and monitor contract execution, marking the inaugural recruitment effort for the city's finance department.
