Brazil appoints 500 candidates from national unified exam to new federal analyst roles
The Ministry of Management and Innovation in Public Services appointed 500 successful candidates from the second edition of the Concurso Público Nacional Unificado (CPNU) to two newly created senior positions: Analyst Technical of Justice and Defense (250) and Analyst Technical of Socio‑economic Development (250). The appointments, published in an extra edition of the Official Gazette on 20 May, place the new analysts within the Ministry but allow decentralised deployment across federal agencies. The positions were established by Law 15.141/2025 and integrate the transversal career system, enabling staff to be allocated among ministries as needed. Appointees must complete the prescribed documentation, undergo a mandatory medical examination, and enrol in the ENAP professionalisation programme, which runs from 18 August to 23 October.
Separately, study notebooks containing past questions for the unified public exam in the state of Piauí were released, offering candidates preparation material across general knowledge, Portuguese, informatics, regional legislation, ethics, and specific technical subjects. The Piauí contest offers 200 vacancies – 100 immediate and 100 reserve – across agencies such as ADAPI, SASC, SADA, DETRAN, SAF, AGRESPI, TV Antares, SEPLAN and SETUR, with salaries ranging from R$ 3,000.12 to R$ 13,536.01.
