Brazil apprenticeship programs offer youth vocational opportunities

Various apprenticeship opportunities, known as the Jovem Aprendiz program, are being offered in Brazil for 2025.

Coopercitrus, a Brazilian agro-industrial cooperative focused on citrus cultivation, is providing internship and trainee positions for individuals aged 14 to 24. The program aims to integrate practical experience with education, offering technical and behavioral training, financial support through wages, and potential career advancement within the agro-industrial sector.

In Osasco, the Jovem Aprendiz program targets individuals aged 16 to 22 who are currently enrolled in public schools or technical courses. Eligibility criteria include being unemployed, belonging to a low-income family, or having been a beneficiary of social programs like Bolsa Família. The initiative is designed to combine theoretical learning with professional practice to enhance future employability.
