Brazil approves public‑servant salary raises in Acre and Manaus

Effective April 2026, the state of Acre will grant a 4.26 % salary increase to its judicial employees, as set out in Complementary Law 520. The raise applies to all permanent staff of the Tribunal de Justiça do Acre and updates the state's remuneration tables.

In Manaus, the municipal government signed a law on 11 May that raises salaries of 35,981 city workers by 4.14 % and lifts the per‑day meal allowance from R$ 18 to R$ 28, expanding coverage to employees earning up to ten minimum wages. The changes take effect with the June payroll.

Both measures are part of local administrations’ efforts to value public‑service personnel and were financed from existing budget allocations.
