Brazil auctions various government assets and real estate

Various public auctions are taking place across Brazil involving government assets and real estate.

In Goiás, the state government is auctioning 143 official vehicles and pieces of equipment, including pickups, motorcycles, and a Fire Department speedboat. The auction aims to raise approximately R$ 530,000 and includes 14 items classified as scrap, which are restricted to registered companies for parts reclamation.

In Rio Grande do Sul, DetranRS is conducting a virtual auction of 363 vehicles and scrap items. Among the 87 vehicles eligible to return to the streets are a Chevrolet Montana and a Volkswagen Jetta, with starting bids as low as R$ 350 and R$ 550, respectively. The remaining 276 items are designated as scrap for specialized companies.

In Goiânia, the auction for the former Hospital Santa Genoveva has commenced. The property, which occupies over 53,000 square meters, has a minimum starting bid of R$ 28.27 million. Following an initial lack of bids, the auction process allows for a 50% price reduction in the second phase, bringing the minimum to R$ 14.135 million.
