In Apucarana, Paraná, the Fire Department responded to a forest fire on a Sunday night. While the region has seen a 46% decrease in environmental fire occurrences compared to the previous year, experts warn that prolonged droughts and climate phenomena like El Niño continue to create high-risk conditions. Firefighters emphasize prevention through land clearing and the creation of firebreaks to mitigate the impact of human-caused or accidental blazes.
