Brazil beach travelers book trips up to 110 days in advance

According to the Omnibees Hotel Report 2025, Brazilian travelers are increasingly planning leisure trips well in advance, particularly for beach destinations. The data shows that in some locations, the average time between initial search and booking reaches up to 110 days.

Regional patterns indicate that the Northeast coast of Brazil leads this trend. Ipojuca in Pernambuco has the highest lead time at 110 days, followed by Maragogi in Alagoas at 107 days, and Mata de São João in Bahia at 104 days.

Research from Criteo further highlights that trip duration influences planning; stays of eight nights or more are researched an average of 86 days in advance, whereas single-night stays are planned only 29 days ahead. Travelers are also becoming more selective, consulting approximately 25 different hotel offers before finalizing a reservation to compare prices, reviews, and availability.
