Brazil boosts cultural access with new ministry app and free music festival

The Ministry of Culture in Brazil launched the Tela Brasil application for Android and iOS, a digital platform designed to broaden public access to cultural content, support independent artists, and promote cultural inclusion across the country.

In Indaiatuba, the fourth edition of the FeProMMar (Festival Professor Moacyr Martins) was held on July 3‑5, 2026 at the UniMAX campus. Integrated into the Festival de Inverno 2026, the event offered free concerts and a two‑day program of workshops, masterclasses and ensemble rehearsals for 152 young and adult musicians, featuring guest teachers from leading Brazilian music institutions. The municipal Secretariat of Culture and the Villa‑Lobos Musical Corporation organized the festival to enhance musical education and community participation.
