Brazil Chamber of Deputies YouTube channel marks 10 years

The official YouTube channel of the Brazilian Chamber of Deputies is celebrating its tenth anniversary this November. The platform has reached nearly 1.5 million subscribers and has accumulated 251 million views across approximately 60,000 videos.

The channel provides unedited, live coverage of public hearings in commissions, plenary voting sessions, and live press conferences in the Salão Verde. It also hosts content from TV Câmara, Rádio Câmara, and the institution's social media networks. To ensure accessibility, transmissions include Brazilian Sign Language (Libras) interpretation, audio description, and closed captioning.

Technical teams monitor live broadcasts to maintain audio and video quality and create backups. The channel serves as a significant tool for public interaction, having recorded over 12 million messages via live chats. It also acts as a vital resource for national and international press, capable of managing up to 70 simultaneous broadcasts in a single day.
