Meanwhile, Desonera, a startup founded in 2023 that reviews IPTU assessments, announced a shift toward institutional clients such as real‑estate funds and holding companies. CEO Natasha Ribeiro said the firm aims to match three years of growth in six months, expanding beyond São Paulo to other cities. The platform, built with AI and no‑code tools, identifies over‑payments in about one‑third of evaluated properties and typically reduces tax liabilities by around 30%.
