Brazil conducts environmental law training for judges and holds condo impact study hearing

The Integrated Center for Environmental Studies (Cesima) will run a second session of its “Introduction to Environmental Law” course from August 3‑5, targeting magistrates of the Mato Grosso State Court. The program features renowned scholars Ingo Wolfgang Sarlet and Tiago Fensterseifer and aims to update judges on ecological and climate‑related jurisprudence.

Separately, a virtual public hearing is scheduled for August 11 to present the Neighborhood Impact Report for the Morada do Sol condominium project in the Jardim Botânico area of the Federal District. The session, livestreamed on YouTube, will allow participants to review the environmental studies and associated regulations before the hearing concludes at 22:30.
