Brazil construction sector focuses on urban sustainability and innovation

Industry leaders and specialists in Brazil are convening to discuss the future of urban planning, sustainability, and industrialization in the construction sector.

A workshop titled ‘Sustainability, Innovation and New Construction Methods – The Future of My City’ was held in Fortaleza. Organized by Sinduscon Ceará and the Brazilian Chamber of the Construction Industry (CBIC), the event focused on integrating public and private sectors to create more efficient, low-carbon cities. Key discussions included urban planning strategies and the importance of civil society collaboration in municipal development.

In São Paulo, the AsBEA-SP will host seminars during the Modern Construction Show 2026. The seminars, themed ‘Industrialization and Sustainability in Construction’, aim to address how these two trends impact architectural design, building operations, and resource efficiency. The initiative seeks to connect architects with developers and public authorities to modernize the civil construction chain.
