Brazil discusses agricultural expansion and logistics in Rondônia

Agriculture Minister André de Paula met with Rondônia Governor Marcos Rocha to discuss strategies for strengthening the state's agribusiness sector. The discussions focused on expanding production, improving logistics, and increasing export opportunities.

A key priority is the Brazil-Bolivia-Pacific Productive Integration Route, which aims to enhance connections between Rondônia and Pacific Ocean markets via Bolivia, Peru, and Chile. The meeting also addressed the need for improved inspection structures at borders to prevent losses of perishable goods.

Additionally, officials discussed the importance of meeting international socio-environmental requirements, including traceability and sustainability standards, to facilitate access to global markets.
