Separately, the Superior Electoral Court (TSE) opened a public bidding process to hire a firm for social‑media and digital‑intelligence monitoring aimed at preventing cyber threats, attacks on public officials and the spread of misinformation. Potential vendors cited include Israel’s Cognyte, Google’s Threat Intelligence service, Brazil’s Harpia Tech and Apura Cyber Intelligence. The contract is expected to cost R$ 648,000 per year, up to R$ 3.2 million over five years, and will rely exclusively on open‑source information, with no access to confidential voter data.
