Brazil Enem 2026: Potential essay themes and preparation tips

Educators and specialists are providing guidance and predicting potential themes for the 2026 Enem (Exame Nacional do Ensino Médio) essay exam. Suggested topics include online betting (bets), the 6x1 work schedule, artificial intelligence, climate change, public health (SUS), and digital colonization.

To prepare, experts recommend expanding cultural repertoire—such as using recent films to support arguments—and practicing frequent writing. O Globo has introduced an AI-powered tool, in partnership with Grupo Eureka, to help students practice with themes like 'Work and quality of life: challenges of the 21st century.'

Students are cautioned against common mistakes that can result in a zero score, such as total deviation from the theme, failing to follow the argumentative-dissertative structure, writing fewer than seven lines, or including identifying marks in the text.
