Brazil ESG and third sector developments focus on measurable impact

The third edition of the ESG 360 Forum is scheduled for September 17, 2026, in Ribeirão Preto, Brazil. Organized by Instituto Terroá, Cajueiro Criativo, and Instituto Olhar, the event focuses on moving social investment from intention to measurable impact. The forum aims to bring together companies, civil society organizations, universities, and public authorities to discuss planning and evaluating social initiatives integrated with business strategies.

In a related development for the Brazilian third sector, the Panorama Conjunta 2025–2026 study was released in São Paulo. The study identified 793 opportunities for training and resource mobilization aimed at the institutional development of civil society organizations (CSOs), a significant increase from the 346 opportunities recorded in 2024. While training opportunities have expanded—with 71% being free and 63% held virtually—the study notes that access to knowledge is growing faster than access to actual funding. Additionally, the report highlights a territorial concentration of in-person training, with over 55% located in the Southeast region of Brazil.
