Brazil expands anti‑bullying efforts in schools and workplaces

Luminova Natal, a school in Brazil, has launched a year‑long anti‑bullying project led by psychopedagogue Ilizandra Cavalcante. The program runs in two semesters, using classroom discussions, debates and reflective activities such as poster‑making to teach students about the forms and impacts of bullying and to promote empathy, respect and collective responsibility.

A separate report highlights that bullying also persists in Brazilian workplaces, where offensive nicknames, public humiliation, exclusion and repeated harassment can harm employees’ mental health, reduce productivity and expose firms to legal risk. The article urges companies to distinguish legitimate performance management from abusive behavior and to foster a professional, respectful environment.
