Brazil expands digital government integration and service scale

The Brazilian digital government landscape is undergoing significant shifts in integration and operational focus. In Marechal Cândido Rondon, the municipal government has updated its official website address to ensure continued integration with the federal GOV.BR platform, following guidelines established by Ordinance SGD/MGI nº 7.076/2024.

On a broader scale, Brazil has seen substantial growth in its digital government capabilities. The GOV.BR platform now hosts 175 million registered users and provides access to over 4,600 federal services, alongside thousands of integrated state and municipal services. While Brazil ranks highly in digital government maturity according to the World Bank’s GovTech Maturity Index, experts suggest the next challenge lies in ensuring the operational resilience and security of the underlying infrastructure that supports these digital interfaces.
