Brazil expands free cultural courses in São José dos Pinhais and São Paulo

The Municipal Culture Department of São José dos Pinhais opened enrollment for free Polish language, English and drawing classes at the Casa da Cultura Polonesa in the Colônia Murici neighborhood. Classes begin in August and are aimed at residents aged 8 to 17, with the Polish course targeting beginners from age 11.

The State of São Paulo’s GURI music education program, managed by Santa Marcelina Cultura, also opened registration for its second‑semester 2026 term, offering 60,000 free spots across 634 centers statewide. The program provides courses in singing and a wide range of instruments for children and adults, with nine new locations in the city’s southern zone and a total of 2,000 vacancies for music education.
