Brazil expands free training programs for youth in Fortaleza and Pinhais

The Instituto João Carlos Paes Mendonça (IJCPM) opened enrollment for 220 free professional courses aimed at young people from communities surrounding the RioMar Fortaleza and RioMar Kennedy shopping centers. The courses, which include uniforms and meals, cover areas such as event reception, makeup, computer repair, mobile photography, and audiovisual production, with schedules running from August through October.

In Paraná, the Instituto Federal do Paraná (IFPR) launched a new Initial and Continuing Education (FIC) program for Assistants in Cultural Production in Pinhais. The initiative will train 400 students across eight municipalities, offering a 160‑hour curriculum that includes professional registration, project management, and access to cultural funding. Partnerships with local cultural unions and government agencies support the program, which runs until December 2026.
