Brazil expands sports and leisure infrastructure in Gramado, Gravatá, and Campos

Brazil is seeing several developments in sports and leisure infrastructure across different regions.

In Gramado, the Arena Gramadense is set to open in October. This multi-use complex, developed by the Centro Esportivo Gramadense in partnership with the Hawi Group, represents an investment of approximately R$ 40 million. The facility is designed to host football matches, national and international shows, festivals, and corporate conventions, with a capacity of up to 20,000 people for large events.

In Gravatá, Pernambuco, the Parque da Cidade is expanding its leisure offerings with the installation of an 'Areninha Esportiva'. The project, which is part of a broader revitalization of the park, is expected to be completed within 90 days. The works include maintenance such as repainting and lighting upgrades to improve the space for residents and tourists.

Additionally, revitalization efforts at the Horto Municipal in Campos are nearing completion. Approximately 90% of the work is finished, with a final deadline expected within a month. Funded by the Federal Government through the Ministry of Tourism, the project includes new infrastructure such as a headquarters, accessible bathrooms, and a new sewage network to improve environmental education and leisure services.
