Brazil federal government delivers health vehicles to Mato Grosso and Acre

The federal government handed over 383 vehicles to the public health network of Mato Grosso on 30 March. The fleet, distributed across 142 municipalities, includes ambulances, micro‑buses, vans from the Caminhos da Saúde programme and mobile dental units. The delivery is part of the Novo PAC Saúde and Agora Tem Especialistas initiatives, with 206 vehicles funded through parliamentary amendments.

On 2 April, the government delivered 24 vehicles and 32 dental‑care equipment items worth more than R$ 8 million to the health system of Acre, covering all 22 municipalities. The package contains micro‑buses, Type A ambulances, a SAMU ambulance and six mobile dental units. Officials said the investments will improve patient transport, expand specialized care and strengthen the SUS in both states.
