Brazil Federal Police arrest suspect in Operation Argenti Lardum

The Federal Police, supported by the 10th Special Actions Battalion of the São Paulo Military Police, detained a suspect in Araras during Operation Argenti Lardum. The raid, part of a coordinated effort with the Integrated Force Against Organized Crime (FICCO), also involved searches of homes and seizure of materials relevant to the investigation.

The operation, which is part of the broader Operation Força Integrada III sweeping 16 Brazilian states, executed 20 judicial orders – ten arrests and ten search‑and‑seizure warrants – across São Paulo and Paraná. Authorities target a criminal organization accused of stealing, robbing and receiving beef cargoes, causing losses in the transport and logistics sector. Joint teams from the Federal Police, Federal Highway Police, state Military Police and municipal guards carried out the actions in Araras, Campinas, Guarulhos, Ribeirão Pires, São Paulo and Apucarana.

No further details about the crime or the identity of the arrested individual have been released, and the seized items will be examined for evidentiary value.
