Brazil Federal Police probe Dark Horse film financing ties to PCC

The Federal Police opened an investigation into possible links between the financing of the biographical film “Dark Horse,” meant to portray former president Jair Bolsonaro, and a money‑laundering network attributed to the Primeiro Comando da Capital (PCC).

Prosecutors say the production company Entre Investimentos, owned by former Banco Master controller Daniel Vorcaro, transferred roughly R$ 28 million to ACX ITC Tecnologia. The São Paulo Civil Police have identified ACX ITC as a front for the PCC, registered to a straw‑man and alleged to have moved more than R$ 918 million in illicit funds.

The inquiry, stemming from Operation Saturno, now awaits a decision from the Supreme Federal Court on which minister will serve as relator. That decision will shape whether authorities can request further measures such as the breaking of bank and tax secrecy to deepen the investigation.
