Brazil football team begins rebuilding phase under Carlo Ancelotti

The Brazilian national football team is beginning a rebuilding phase under manager Carlo Ancelotti following a disappointing exit from the 2026 FIFA World Cup after a 2-1 loss to Norway. To prepare for the 2030 World Cup, the team will participate in a series of friendly matches scheduled for late 2025, including matches against Australia in Townsville and Brisbane, as well as a game against India in Kolkata.

As part of this renewal process, ten young players under the age of 25 who were not included in the 2026 World Cup squad have been identified as key talents for the future. This group of prospects includes attackers Estêvão, João Pedro, and Wesley, as well as defenders Vitor Reis and Wesley, and midfielder Andrey Santos. Estêvão, aged 19, is noted as a central figure in Ancelotti's future plans.
