Brazil forklift rental market projected to reach US$ 3.07 billion by 2030

Projections from Mordor Intelligence suggest the market will grow from US$ 1.73 billion in 2025 to US$ 3.07 billion by 2030, representing an accumulated increase of approximately 77%. Logistics and warehousing accounted for 65.75% of the Brazilian rental market in 2024, with São Paulo serving as the primary hub due to its industrial density and proximity to the Port of Santos.

However, the sector faces new financial challenges. Rising interest rates and increased delinquency rates are forcing rental companies to shift their focus from mere equipment productivity to strategic risk management. Industry specialists note that well-structured contracts and rigorous credit analysis have become essential to mitigate financial instability. Some companies report significant revenue impacts from unpaid accounts, highlighting a shift where legal security and financial predictability are now as critical as fleet utilization.
