The city is also providing dengue vaccinations at various Basic Health Units (UBSs), with several locations offering extended hours.

Simultaneously, the Super El Niño and predicted above-average rainfall in Southern Brazil are raising concerns regarding respiratory health. Experts warn that the combination of humidity, rain, and cold temperatures can foster the growth of fungi and the circulation of respiratory viruses. Health professionals advise maintaining ventilated indoor spaces to mitigate the risks associated with damp, closed environments during this period.
