Brazil Holds National Education Conferences in Brasília and São Paulo

The XIX National Meeting of Youth and Adult Education (ENEJA) took place in Brasília from 27 to 30 May, bringing together educators, students, researchers and social movements from across Brazil. A delegation from Paraíba met with Secretary Zara Figueiredo of the Secretariat for Continuing Education, Literacy, Diversity and Inclusion (SECADI) to discuss national policies and regional priorities for adult education.

Meanwhile, the Instituto Federal de São Paulo (IFSP) hosted the 10th National Meeting of Art Teachers from Federal Institutes, gathering art educators to exchange practices and develop collaborative projects.

Both events underscored Brazil’s ongoing focus on expanding training, inclusion and professional development within the education sector.
