Brazil hosts multiple agriculture and agro‑industry events in July‑August 2026
A series of agricultural gatherings took place across Brazil in July and August 2026. The UFAL Campus in Arapiraca hosted the 2nd Alagoas Water and Soil Management Symposium and the inaugural International Workshop on Water and Soil Management, featuring speakers from Brazilian universities and the University of Missouri (USA). In Santa Maria de Jetibá, Espírito Santo, the 14th Nater Coop Agro Fair attracted about 8,000 visitors and included technical sessions on El Niño impacts, protected‑culture techniques, coffee fusariosis management, aviculture health and the implications of the new tax reform. Organizers quoted president Denilson Potratz: “The focus is to broaden connections, stimulate business and contribute to sustainable growth of the Espírito Santo agro sector.”
Leadership forums were held in Sinop, Mato Grosso, where the ZMP Leadership Forum gathered executives to discuss digital transformation, generational succession and organizational culture. In Bahia, the city of Barreiras launched its first Pernambuco Livestock Forum to promote innovation and investment.
Other events included the 1st Northeast Small‑Scale Poultry Fair in Campina Grande, the 26th Fenearte craft fair in Olinda, and the 11th Brazilian Congress of Precision Agriculture and the 17th International Conference on Precision Agriculture in Porto Alegre, highlighting Brazil’s growing role in digital agriculture.
