Brazil Hosts Escola da Cidade Scientific Conference and Cultura na Faixa Circus Rehearsal

The Escola da Cidade – Faculdade de Arquitetura e Urbanismo will hold its XVII Jornada de Iniciação Científica from 25 to 27 May 2026, open to the public and featuring 78 undergraduate research projects presented across 15 panels.

Separately, the non‑profit project Cultura na Faixa will stage an open circus‑arts rehearsal on 30 July at the Núcleo Ana Clara in Caxias, Rio de Janeiro, inviting community members to observe and participate in the students’ training and performances.

Both events aim to foster public engagement with academic research and community‑based artistic practice in Brazil.
