Brazil hosts various film festivals and cultural events

Various cultural and cinematic events are taking place across Brazil. The 4th edition of the International Women's Film Festival (FIM Cine) has opened registrations for its November 2026 event, focusing on films directed by women.

In João Pessoa, Cinema Passeio is hosting free screenings of national and regional productions, including a debate session with directors. In Campinas, the 6th Cine Inclusão 60+ Festival will run from September 23 to 25, featuring films that explore themes of aging.

In Manaus, Centerplex Cinemas is celebrating its 45th anniversary with promotional R$ 12 tickets at the Shopping Grande Circular. Meanwhile, the K-pop group BTS has released a trailer for a live broadcast of their October 30 concert at MorumBIS, which will be streamed in cinemas nationwide.

Additionally, Petrópolis's Teatro Imperial will host a weekend of music and film, including a Beatles orchestral concert and a 35mm screening of ‘Confissões de Adolescente’.
