Brazil hosts intimate concerts by Livia Nery and Lagum

Singer‑songwriter Livia Nery marked a decade of work with an intimate performance at Quinta da Casa, part of the Casa Rosa cultural complex, on 13 August. Accompanied by long‑time multi‑instrumentalist João Deogracias, the duo presented a stripped‑down version of her repertoire, previewing material for her next project while revisiting songs from her catalog. Tickets were sold through Sympla starting at R$ 15, and the show was part of Casa Rosa’s six‑year anniversary program.

On 2 August, the Minas Gerais‑based band Lagum surprised fans with a pop‑up concert on a balcony on Rua Sapucaí in Belo Horizonte. The unannounced, ticket‑free set recalled the group’s early days and signaled a return to its roots, kicking off a series of actions planned for the month, including the launch of a new tour.
