Brazil hosts major professional skateboarding events in Curitiba and Brasília

Brazil is hosting major professional skateboarding competitions this weekend in Curitiba and Brasília.

In Curitiba, the first stage of the 2026 Circuito Banco do Brasil de Skate will take place from September 4 to 6 at the Centro Nacional de Treinamento de Skate (CNSK8). The event features Street and Park disciplines, with the Street category carrying the SLS Select Series seal. This designation provides a pathway for Brazilian athletes to qualify for the SLS Championship Tour, allowing them to compete against top international skaters.

Simultaneously, Brasília will host the Pro Tour STU Brasília 2026 on September 5 and 6 at Parque da Cidade Sarah Kubitschek. This international vertical skateboarding competition features prominent athletes such as 2024 vertical world champion Gui Khury and former world champion Rony Gomes. The event includes vertical skating competitions and a Best Trick Street segment.
