Brazil hosts regional robotics Olympiad stage and first university scientific‑cultural showcase

The Federal Institute of Santa Catarina (IFC) campus in Luzerna will host the Western Regional Stage of the Brazilian Robotics Olympiad on 17 July 2026. The competition will feature 35 school teams and more than 120 participants competing in Rescue Robotics and Artistic Robotics categories, with the best teams advancing to the state stage in Chapecó in September.

At the Federal University of Goiás campus in Cidade Ocidental, the Institute of Innovation and Management held its inaugural Scientific‑Cultural Exhibition on 30 June 2026. The event included poster sessions and student‑produced video tutorials, drawing about 140 attendees from the university and the local community. Five videos were selected for official presentation, highlighting student research and technical communication skills.
