Brazil hosts various free music festivals in Betim and Lençóis
Brazil is hosting several cultural music festivals featuring diverse musical genres and free public programming.
In Betim, the Festival Laços will take place this Saturday at Praça Milton Campos. The event, organized to celebrate the 120th anniversary of the Araujo drugstore chain, includes storytelling, circus performances, samba, and instrumental music. The lineup features the Minas Gerais band Pato Fu, led by Fernanda Takai, as the closing act.
In Lençóis, located in Chapada Diamantina, the 27th edition of the Festival de Lençóis is scheduled for September 2026. The three-day event offers free access to various musical styles, including MPB, sertanejo, reggae, and pop. Featured national artists include Michel Teló, Rachel Reis, Larissa Luz, and Cidade Negra, alongside local cultural groups such as Família Grãos de Luz e Griô.
