Brazil INSS fraud investigation reveals massive profits
Igor Dias Delecrode, a central figure in the “Operação Sem Desconto” investigation, was recorded stating that the profits from a fraudulent scheme involving the Brazilian National Institute of Social Security (INSS) exceeded those of a multinational corporation. Delecrode, 28, is accused of leading a group known as the “golden boys” alongside partners Felipe Macedo Gomes, Anderson Cordeiro Vasconcelos, and Américo Monte Jr.
The investigation by the Federal Police targets a scheme that allegedly caused R$ 6.2 billion in losses to retirees. The group is suspected of using four associations—AASAP, ABCB, Master Prev, and ANDAPP—to enroll retirees in services without their authorization, allowing for unauthorized monthly deductions directly from their benefits. The suspects are accused of generating over R$ 700 million through these entities.
Authorities have seized 29 luxury vehicles valued at R$ 28 million, and the group reportedly maintained a lifestyle of extreme luxury, including mansions in Alphaville. The investigation is also examining potential bribery of former INSS directors to secure technical cooperation agreements that facilitated the unauthorized deductions.
