The Brazilian insurance sector is projected to reach R$ 808 billion in revenue by 2026, representing a 5.7% growth according to the National Confederation of Insurers (CNseg). Key drivers for this expansion include health, automotive, and housing insurance segments. Data from the first half of the year shows a 6.51% nominal increase in damage and life insurance, with life insurance specifically growing by 10.29%.

Within the health insurance market, the company Alice reported reaching 100,000 members in July 2026, achieving an annual recurring revenue (ARR) of R$ 1.1 billion. According to ANS data, Alice saw a 19% increase in its member base between January and May 2026, significantly outpacing the São Paulo market average of 1.4%. The company's growth is largely attributed to its focus on small and medium-sized enterprises, maintaining a 98% contract retention rate.
